Haha! Being liberated has a good feeling and tune to it:)
But how come you guys at office sound good also...like on holiday like that:D Did a facial and bath spa yesterday:)
Hmm so yesterday, I went to meet up with the Tanaka family.
You know how irritating yesterday's weather was? When I left home it was still all sunshine and happiness. When I REACHED the Novena MRT station, it started pouring like mad. So I tot...an umbrella costs $6, taking a taxi would cost less, so I cabbed from the MRT station to the hotel. >.<
And on the taxi, Mrs. Tanaka called me up...and both of us ended up apologising to each other:D
When I reached, turned out that there is only Mrs Tanaka and her daughter!!!! Turned out that daddy and son went to the ZOO bahhhh. Anyway, I tot it was better that way, coz' can do shopping...:D
Ya so we went to shop shop and all lo...dun need to elaborate bah...because went I shop I'm more "goal-oriented" one mar...u guys have experience with me in that...yea so most of the time I was happily waiting for them.
Hmm...and something really cool: Japanese don't wear one-piece (aka dresses) that are too short. Anything above knee is considered as short. Those who wear mini-skirts are those who blantantly go against convention. It's something interesting bah.
And yea, few Japanese actually wear spag straps in public. It's bad bad bad. They'll wear it with a jacket.
Oh...The apple shrudles shop auntie remembered me k! It was totally cool ba.
Oh ya and when I was walking there Marie called me to say that
I FILLED UP THE TIMESHEET WRONGLY. Then I was irritated. But at the end of the day I smsed her to apologise for hanging up on her (whahahahahahahah) coz' it was noisy...(I think we were at the Dorothy shop...remember the bikini one?)
Hmm then later we went to Chinatown to get souvenirs (the spelling like a bit wrong) and then to Clarke Quay to eat dinner and look look. Great recommendations people, I told her that the Turkey Ice Cream was "famous" and then they really believed me...man...then it turned out that there was 3 tour group taking the boat tour, and the tour guide told them it was "famous" too.
So it's famous ba, since momo, ww and the tour guide says so! (HAHAHA)
The Turkey man totally teased the mummy and daughter k! He played a lot of tricks with the cone. Seriously he was totally shuai4. I was like, ENTRANCED by his nice eyes.
Want to learn Turkey's language anyone?
Yea so for dinner we had
PEPPERLUNCH HAHAHA!!! The mummy treated me lar, and then she said, "well, it's the best dinner we had in the so many days we come to Singapore." >.< Think they don't really like food court food ba. (For lunch we ate chicken rice and yong tau fu. And I treat them kuey lapis)
They told me Kuey Lapis looks like this thing in Japan which u give out when you get MARRIED! The reason was refreshing enough-- "Because it looks like the rings of the tree, so a lot of rings means that the marriage will last for many many years!"
Interesting yea?
Haha, so in the end we went back to the hotel at like 7:30. And I met Mr. Tanaka and their son masashi. MASASHI IS SO CUTE OK. SO CUTE. They said he looked like a monkey, but whatever, he's so freaking cute.
Um...it was so paiseh for two things yesterday tho.:
1) I wrote Tanaka as 中田。 So idiotic lar. It was supposed to be 田中。
(tanaka is like "lee" and "tan" in Singapore...so if u carn even write a basic surname rite, u are basically spelling "i suck in Japanese" on your forehead.) Yea they were asking me how to pronounce those words in mandarin mar.
2) WE ALMOST GOT STUCK IN THE LRT DOOR!
Freaking scary! Mrs. Tanaka was rushing in the train when it was flashing, and we almost got kiapped by the train ok! It was bad. >.<
So being a nice tour guide, from that day on, no entering of trains when the red light's blinking, no jay-waking, and no rampant crossing of the road.
It was happy knowing both of them. Hmm...I think mrs. Tanaka is the housewife type, and her daughter is like the ok! type. Think the daughter would make a good clubber. She's awake only at night. :D
ya that's about it. I'm back to watching Doraemon.:))
if only you'd let me speak
